playground equipment

Here is the Kompan equipment that I was talking about:
This one is called the Home/Rescue Story Maker.  It is so cool.  It is a house on one side and a fire truck on the other side.

We picked the Fairy Castle just for Cora.  We thought she would have loved this one!

Elephant spring ride.

Tick-tock.

Daisy.  Doesn't that look like so much fun?

Daffodil.  Joel thought this one was kinda boring, but I know there will be some kids that will LOVE it!

We were so thankful to be able to choose all this equipment.  I have always loved early childhood stuff, so I was so excited when Hutton Construction told us about Kompan.  They have a line of playground equipment designed specifically for 2-5 year olds.  It is so bright and colorful and different from anything I have ever seen.  I love it!  We have shed many tears thinking about how much fun it would have been to take Cora to this playground.  But, we know this playground will serve so many other kids.  Maybe even some of Cora's siblings some day. We are so thankful for that!

The playground looks great. I was looking back at some of your posts and the Cora video. Cora is absolutely just so precious and beautiful. I was wondering if you took all those pictures and if so what kind of camera do you have? I love to take pictures and it looks like you do too. Just curious. Thanks so much and God Bless!

WOW! What a beautiful legacy Cora will have. My prayers are with you every day on this journey.

We sang a song in church today that made me think of you...Chris Tomlin - I Will Rise From the album Hello Love. Here's the chorus:

I will rise when He calls my name
No more sorrow, no more pain
I will rise on eagles' wings
Before my God, fall on my knees
And rise
I will rise

God bless you always.

When you are sad and thinking about how Cora would have loved this playground, just imagine the awesome playground she's enjoying in Heaven! Wow! And to jump off the swings and land in the arms of Jesus... You will play with her in that same playground in Heaven someday!

Those are some very fortunate little ones that you have such a heart for giving something in honor of your sweet baby girl. It's gonna be awesome! And, while you long to play with her here, she is in the biggest, funnest (I know that's not a word), bestest playground...heaven!

Much love and always...prayers for you both. You are on my mind still many, many days. We've not forgotten your sweet Cora.

So fun! I've never seen any of that equipment before! I'm sure it doesn't even compare to the playground Cora gets to play on in Heaven everyday, but I think it's pretty spiffy for here on earth :) I love the thought of Cora's siblings playing there one day and just pray that in time God will fill your home with laughter.

Bittersweet. Your attitude is so beautiful, though. It is so amazing and humbling that the last thing you say is a praise, or that you are thankful! What a testimony to the grace and peace (an ongoing work) of the Lord in your life (both of you together)!

So many children will be able to benefit from this...what a terrific memorial to such a sweet and beautiful princess! You'll have to record and post the sweet laughter of all the children that will benefit from that...such a tremendous gift. May God continue to bless you and we all continue to pray for you and Joel.

I am so sorry for your loss of your sweet Cora. It is so hard. I love that you are doing a playground in her honor. That is so wonderful.

I also lost a daughter recently, she was stillborn at 37 weeks this past January due to a cord accident. I know our losses are different in some ways but they are similar in ways too. It is so against all that we hoped and dreamed to have our child go before us.

I'm so impressed with all the people that have rallied around you with the etsy store, etc. I love that idea. I've started a little thing in honor of Alexis (thats my daughter's name) I thought I would share with you, you can read more about it here: www.lexilynnedesigns.etsy.com
