Levi slept through most of his first Thanksgiving...
but he still thought the turkey was pretty great!
Thanksgiving was really hard for me again this year.
I have been struggling with a lot of emotions...
missing Cora,
my parents moving,
and having to let go of things that I don't want to let go of.
But, I can't help but smile when I look back at these pictures of my family.
I have so much to be thankful for.
I hope that this weekend you were able to thank God for who He is,
even if approaching the holidays has been difficult for you.
He is so worthy of our thanksgiving.

Sure looks like you did have a wonderful Thanksgiving with family. I sure hope your parents didn't move to far away from you-my mom actually moved near us so this was her first Thanksgiving living in the same town. Holidays are always hard when a loved one is missing-I know though that God is Control and we can put our trust in Him-I do not know how non Christians can even make it. Thanks for posting-love seeing your pics-great photography-you are good.

Beautiful holiday pictures! I thought of you on Thanksgiving and that I was thankful for you (which my husband would think is weird since we don't "know" each other!) and thankful for your ability to share so much of how God is working in your life. You are an inspiration. I am sorry you are having hard days missing Cora lately. I love the pic of Levi getting ready, those little everyday moments are the best.

SWEET PICTURES ... looks like you have such a sweet family. My mom is far far away, like a whole other continent away and holidays are hard with family being so far BUT we are thankful that we have them and we make every minute count when we are together :) and we find ways to be close even when we are physically not close, you know?
So happy to see smiley faces together, you can feel the love when you look at them.
i know just what you mean. this time of year is so challenging for me, too. so full of hope and happiness, but also so full of sadness. i lean on God so much this time of year which makes me feel even more grateful. His love and comfort overwhelms me, it is so good.

Your pictures are beautiful. This time is so hard for us, in that we have no children to share the joy of Christmas with, but we have many other blessings which we try to focus on instead of what we don't have.

These pictures brought tears to my eyes, as I've missed my family {mostly my mom} so much this holiday season.
The food looked so yummy and Levi's smile in that high chair picture is priceless!

Levi is beautiful. I am not facing the same trials as you, but my thanksgiving was challenging this year too. We are facing some great trials in my family, and what's worse is that they were imposed by vindictive family members. It was still a great day though, and I am so thankful for the blessings in my life, and I know you are too. (((hugs)))
