the weekend

It was a...

snacking with daddy on the kitchen floor,

ribs and sweet corn for dinner,

working on a craft project,

crawling around outside,

and sneaking things into my mouth when my parents aren't looking...

kind of a weekend.

Joel didn't have to work Saturday afternoon
which always makes it a good weekend.
Joel and I both had projects we were working on,
but otherwise we didn't have much planned.
It was great to just be together.
That is definitely my favorite kind of weekend.

that's how our Sunday was. we went to "bedside baptist" since the kids have colds. we laid on our big bed and cuddled, read books, and lazed around the house ALL DAY!
