beach baby

We were so excited to bring you to the beach.
We thought you would love the water.
You love splashing in the bathtub.

But these pictures are a little deceiving.
Although we got a few cute smiles out of you,
you didn't so much love the beach.

In fact you cried when we tried to put you in the water.
And you didn't like your little toes touching the sand.
And the sun was too bright for your liking.

Your cousin Ellie tried to show you how fun the beach is.
She tried really hard to play with you.
But you still weren't a big fan.

You were much happier back at the condo.
Sitting on the deck overlooking the ocean.
Just watching from afar.
And poor Ellie was left to play by herself.

But we still made some fun memories.
I love watching you experience new things.
And I bet if we ever go back,
you will be running all over the beach
and splashing in the water too!

YAY! I've been waiting to see these pictures - love his new clothes and hat! You look adorable too. Just a cute little Kansas family on the beach. So glad for those memories- the good and the bad - that you got to make together!

I love the picture sequence! He is one adorable baby boy. My boy was uneasy at the beach when he was little but soon found the fun in the water and sand.

Dear Macs, I have been following your blog and praying for your precious family since Cora got sick.
I will tell you our funny beach story. First of all, we had 2 very fair little girls so we sun screened them to the max and did our parental duty to take them to the beach.( we like the mountains better!) Well the trip proved that they would like the Mts. better also because one of them did not like the "WAVY WATER" and the other did not like the "WHITE DIRT" ! On that day we ended our beach excursions !
Continuing to pray in Christian love,
Ellen GA
