Oh my goodness....I have found your blog today for the first time and it is making me cry at work. I have a 7 month old who has a lot of ear infections (we are always that the doctor) and it scares me that it could turn out to be something worse and things can happen so quickly. I thought about you today and shed some tears for Cora. You are in my prayers. Your compassion and heart amazes me everyday. Hold on tightly to Jesus's hand....he will continue to guide you and support you.
There is a little girl who is two, her name is Layla Grace. You can find her by googling her. Her mommy tweets from Twitter. She has what Cora had and is in hospice now at home. They were given just a few weeks left with her. We are praying passionatley for God to do a mighty work and heal her. Her mom has begun to work with people like Ryan Secrest to raise awareneses for Neruoblastoma. I sent her to you because I think your story would help raise awareness. You have so much compassion that I think you could be excellent at working to get more research funding for medical treatements. I also think you would be wonderful in talkign with parent's like Layla's who are expreincing what you have went through. I hope and pray that through your efforts that someday they will find a total cure for the cancer.
I wish Cora a happy Birthday. I am praying and pray daily for you.

Cora is one more reason why I find myself asking "what kind of God do we serve?" One that rips children from their loving parents, leaves other children with parents that neglect and abuse their children....it makes NO sense...
I'm so glad He loves me enough to withstand my doubting and questioning. I do believe, but Lord help my unbelieving in those moments of worldly questioning.
Jess and Joel you and your families are held in prayer, may God's love and grace continue to fill in the gaps of your broken hearts. I was once told that the breaks in one's heart were where God's light would shine the brightest for others to see.
God's love does shine so brightly from you, and Levi's eyes, like Cora's, reflect that very love. Love never fails, love is eternal, love waits for you in the heavens while you live love here.
