a fun surprise
Like many of you I love getting decorating tips from John and Sherry over at This Young House. They have so many great ideas.
They have lots of fun giveaways too.
I usually don't enter. I mean really, what are the chances that I would actually win??
But, when I saw these fun wallflowers a few weeks ago, I just had to try.
When they posted the winners a few days later I couldn't believe it.
Jess M...that's me!!
I actually e-mailed them to make sure I REALLY was the winner. There are a lot of other Jess' in the world right??
A few days later these pretty white wallflowers arrived on my doorstop. How fun!
I so wished Cora was here. I wanted to rush up to her room and hang them right away. They would have been perfect. It's funny how even winning something can make me miss Cora.
I think I am going to wait to hang them. If we have another little girl I think I will put them in the nursery. Joel didn't think they were manly enough for a little boy. So, if we have a boy I will have to find another home for these pretty little flowers.
I'll let you know where they end up.
Thank you This Young House and LaDifference for picking me!!

Those are SO cute! I haven't visited their site in a while. In fact, I forgot all about them. Thanks for the reminder that they exist. Must go see what's going on over at their site today.
Blessings to you, Jess!
XOXO
Congrats! They are so fun.
It's funny, because I do the same "Really. What are the chances I will win something" thing. Lucky you. If the new baby is a boy then maybe Mommy will need her own little office or craft room. They would look great in there, right?!
With love and prayers,
*Tricia
Congrats!! I have actually won a few giveaways and each time I was super shocked! I didn't think it was possible! The flowers are adorable! I will have to go and check out this blog now :-)

By the way - are you going to find out if your having a girl or boy or will it be surprise?

You're very welcome, Jess! We love it when prizes end up with fellow bloggers so that we get to see where things end up. We can't wait to see your wallflowers in their final home. I'm sure they'll look great.

Congrats! I can understand wanting to hang them in Cora's room...maybe this baby will be a girl, who knows!
I can't wait to see where they end up.
LOVE them! Enjoy and congrats!
Oh fun! I saw those flowers at Bed, Bath, and Beyond last week and was eyeing them.
They are adorable! make sure to post a pick when they reach their "spot". Always love to read a post, update from you! Hope you are feeling fantastic with this wonderful pregnancy. Thoughts and prayers!

Oh, those would be pretty in a powder room, the one your guests would use (and no shower to ruin them with steam). Congratulations on winning a giveaway!
How is the new baby treating you these days? Do you feel sick at all?
Congrats to you!
I have not commented much on your blog, but have followed your story since Cora fell ill. Cora is weighing heavy on my heart today for some reason. I'm sure I will know soon enough why, but I had to go back and read her story from the time she entered the hospital and all I want to do is cry.
I just wanted you to know that she still lives on not only in your own hearts, but all of her readers as well.
Jess,
My husband and I received your sweet thank you postcard yesterday. What a thoughtful touch and it really brightened my day! I placed it on my fridge where all of our special pictures are posted.
I understand what you mean about the smallest things - even winning something - how it can make you miss Cora. If you have another girl, those would certainly look cute in the nursery. If you have a boy...maybe I will be fortunate enough to get pregnant soon and I will have a girl! Then - you can ship those babies over to me! :)
Take good care friend and I am praying for you!
Congrats! They look really cool! I will have to visit their site.
Take care and have a wonderful 4th!
We have those exact flowers on a wall in the studio!
Congratulations! Those are super adorable and I saw them on This Young House, too. So glad *you* are the "Jess M"!

cora would've loved them too. she would've reached out for them and you'd always have to tell her no. :)
they are sweet.
you could put them in....a bathroom? your side of the bedroom? you'll find a good spot.
I'd also love to know if Baby Mac is going to be a boy or a girl or a 'surprise'!
Blessings and hope you are feeling well as baby grows and grows each day!
That's awesome! They are adorable, and I pretty much am in love with This Young House! I hope you find the perfect place for them in your abode :)
Oh! Of course it would make you miss your baby. Squishy hugs for you. Enjoy your win and hope you feel strong as this pregnancy grows.
