Obviously, this is not a secret anymore! We wanted to share with all of you our exciting news. We are so thankful that the Lord has blessed us with another child. We can't wait for our house to be filled with that joy again.
But this announcement comes with so many mixed emotions as it is hard to imagine adding another child to our family without Cora here with us. She would have been such a good big sister!
We are so thankful for all of our faithful prayer warriors out there! Please continue to pray along with us for a healthy baby Mac. What a miracle this new little life is!

What wonderful news to read this morning!!! I grew up as the only surviving child of parents that lost a son. I will tell you that not a day has gone by that I don't know how much my parents love me and that they would do anything in this world for me. You have a unique opportunity to love a child and truly know how precious every moment is. Your child is blessed to have parents that will be able to give them such a gift!! Continuing to pray for you daily!

Yea! My Grandma lost her first baby, Terri, at one. When she died, the doctors told her to get pregnant again, as it would ease the pain a little bit to have a little one in the house. She told me that it helped a ton. Very exiting news! Congrats!

It means something beautiful has appeared in the midst of the darkness and clouds. Storm clouds may still hover but the rainbow provides hope. God brings joy in the midst of sorrow.

Oh this does my heart good! I've been following your blog for many months now and think of your family often. We drove through Kansas in March on our way to my husband's family in Nebraska and the whole time I kept thinking of you and your family. I am soooooo happy for you!! I have prayed so hard that God would bless you with another baby this summer. Not that any baby would ever replace sweet Cora; not that it would take away the pain of losing her. But that you would again have joy and hope in your lives with a new little life. Thank you God!
